Career and Technical Education Teacher

The Wrenshall Public School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE Career and Technical Education Teacher beginning in the 2022-2023 school year. This is a new position offering the exciting opportunity to design the program with the current Industrial Arts Teacher and Special Education Program PAES Teacher.

Bus Driver

The Wrenshall School District is seeking a bus driver (regular morning and afternoon route) for the 2022-2023 school year. This is an AFSCME union position $28.63/hr 172 contract days/yr 3-4 hrs/day. There is also an opportunity for extra curricular trips at $15/hour. Drivers are required to obtain CDL with School Bus Endorsement. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Carlton/Wrenshall is Seeking a Head Varsity Football Coach for the Fall of 2022

Qualifications

  • Coaching experience or participation at the high school or college levels
  • Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current CPR and First Aid training course

Responsibilities include:

  • To develop a competitive and representative team with emphasis upon development of young people in terms of teamwork, leadership, character, athletic skills and positive attitudes
  • To assist in maintaining high academic standards for all student athletes
  • To assist the athletic director in the hiring and/or retention of assistant coaches
  • To direct, supervise, and evaluate regularly the performance of all assistant coaches.
  • To direct the training, conditioning, and performance of the varsity football team.
  • To act as a positive influence upon the behavior of members of his/her athletic staff and teams
  • To be responsible for the supervision of the athletes at all away venues or post-season competition
  • To inventory and order the necessary equipment and supplies needed to conduct the program
  • To ensure that all athletes have undergone and passed medical examinations before the regular practice season begins
  • To organize a system for encouraging students to try out for the team and to develop and recruit equipment manager(s), statisticians, ball runners, etc. for all teams.
