HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL CREDIT RECOVERY ENROLLMENT NOW OPEN!
Summer school enrollment opportunities within the local area have officially been posted.  The 2022 summer sessions will allow Wrenshall students 4 options for credit recovery depending on a student’s age:
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
OPTION 1: For students 15 years or older
Duluth Denfeld will be hosting summer school in an IN-PERSON format.  This is the ONLY credit recovery option within our local area for students under the age of 16.  Students are given the opportunity to successfully complete/recover up to 1.0 credit required towards graduation (Duluth awards .5 credit per semester = 1 credit per semester at Wrenshall).  Attendance is mandatory.
  • FIRST SEMESTER CLASS RECOVERY sessions will run from 8:00-12:15 starting Monday, June 20, 2022 through Friday, July 8, 2022.  The session runs Monday-Thursday (except for the first day which is a Tuesday).
  • SECOND SEMESTER CLASS RECOVERY sessions will run from 8:00-12:15 starting Monday, July 12, 2022 through Thursday, July 28, 2022.  The session runs Monday-Thursday (except for the first day which is a Tuesday).

OPTION 2: For students 16 years or older
Duluth ALC will be hosting summer school in a mostly ONLINE format.  This is only for students aged 16-20.  Students are given the opportunity to successfully complete/recover up to 1.5 credits required towards graduation (Duluth awards .5 credit per semester = 1 credit per semester at Wrenshall).  This program only allows students to recover by semester worth, not quarter.
  • June 21, 2022 through August 17, 2022: Tuesday & Wednesdays from 8:00am-12:00pm

OPTION 3: For students 16 years or older
Cloquet ALC (CAAEP – EDHS) will be hosting summer school in an IN-PERSON format.  This is only for students aged 16-20.  There will be 4 sessions available with the opportunity to make up .25 credit (.5 credit in Wrenshall calculations) per session.  This program breaks it down by allowing just a quarter to be made up versus an entire semester.  In other words, if a student failed Q1 but passed Q2, they essentially would only need to recover Q1.  Attendance is mandatory.
  • Session 1: June 7, 8, 9 Tuesday-Thursday from 8:00-4:00
  • Session 2: June 14, 15, 16 Tuesday – Thursday from 8:00-4:00
  • Session 3: June 21, 22, 23 Tuesday – Thursday from 8:00-4:00
  • SEssion 4: June 28, 29, 30 Tuesday – Thursday from 8:00-4:00
